KK KIMBERLY KING

        Kimberly King  has worked in theatres across the country. She  performed the role of Gretta in the Tony award-winning Broadway production at the Ahmanson of "James Joyce's The Dead" directed by Richard Nelson, with Stephen Spinella, Salley Anne Howes and Marni Nixon.  She has appeared as Germain in the New York production of Steve Martin's "Picasso at the L'apin Agile", and as Marguerite opposite Rip Torn  in Michael Wilson's production of "Camino Real" at the Hartford Stage in Connecticut. She played the leading character in "Night Sky" by Susan Yankowitz  in a critically aclaimed production at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles.  She was member of resident ensembles  at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, Houston's Alley Theatre, and The Berkeley Repertory Theatre (appearing in over 25 productions). She has also appeared with  The American Conservatory Theatre, The Denver Center, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, among many otheres. Her roles include Lady Croom in Tom Stoppard's "Arcadia" at the American Conservatory Theatre directed by Carey Perloff, Joanne in "House&Garden" for Stephen Rayne at the Alley in Houston, and Hesione in "Heartbreak House" at the Berkeley Rep.  Kimberly has won Drama Logue Awards for her work as Ilona in "The Play's the Thing at ACT, for Annie in "The Norman Conquests" and Hesione in "Heartbreak House" at the Berkeley Rep, - and Critics Circle awards for the multiple-character roles in "Intimate Exchanges", for Susan in "Woman In Mind", and for Agatha in the South Coast Repertory World Premier of Annie Weisman's "Hold, Please".  Other roles include Keeley in Keely and Du, Aggie in "Dancing at Lughnasa" - both at the Alley, - Amanda in "Private Lives", Elmire, Dorine and Maryanne in various productions of "Tartuffe", Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing", Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", the title role in "Candida".  A mezzo soprano, Kimberly has sung opera, musical theatre, ("Happy End", Guys n' Dolls, A Little Night Music),  and jazz.  She appeared in the San Francisco Symphony's "On the Town", conducted by Michael Tilson-Thomas, with Tyne Daly and Frederica Von Stade. Her directing credits include; Feydeau's "Flea in Her Ear" for the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley, "Harvey" for the Sierra Repertory Theatre. She is married to actor/director Ken Grantham.

Regional credits include 1776 for Sacramento Light Opera and Josef Weingarden in the world premier musical Haven.  Television:   Guest and Co-star credits in The Practice, Hang Time, It's a Miracle,  Chicago Hope,  Arrest and Trial, Power Rangers, and the miniseries TOM CLANCY'S NetForce. Recurring role on Diagnosis Murder. Films: Wildfire!, The Space Between, Vegas Connection, Assault on Precinct 13,  Fraternity Row, Caged Hearts, Bait, My Uncle: the Alien.  In commercials, I'm the guy asking Charles Schwab about the stock market at the town hall meeting and the dancing used car salesman in the eBay spots. 


Jay JAY BRUNOT

       Graduating from Penn State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, he worked seven years in the field of designing nuclear power plants.  Dr. Brunot resigned his engineering position and began studying organ with Dr. Richard Billingham at the Methodist Temple, Chicago, Illinois.  It was Dr. Billingham who was instrumental in furthering his musical career by orchestrating a full tuition scholarship at the University of Illinois, Chicago campus.  It was at this institution, in 1993, that he first began his formal music studies, and two years later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Applying at various institutions for advanced study, he received scholarships from a number of prestigious schools however he elected to accept an attractive scholarship from the Flora L. Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California in order to study under Professor Ladd Thomas.  The requirements for the Master of Music with emphasis in organ performance was satisfied in 1997.  All course work, four recitals, and oral and comprehensive examinations were completed in May 2003 and he received his Doctoral of Musical Arts degree with emphasis in organ performance.  Scholastically, Dr. Brunot was named outstanding graduate in the organ department.  Among his professional achievements are performing two Master’s classes.  The first was for titular organist of Notre Dame Paris, Jean Gillou.  The other was at an American Guild of Organists Convention for the current organist of Notre Dame, Paris, Olivier Latry.  Dr. Brunot toured Vienna, Salzburg, Venice, Florence, and Rome as the accompanist with a Hutington Beach, California choir which included playing a mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and an audience with the Pope.  He has concertized in the Los Angeles area and played recitals at the Methodist Temple in Chicago, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and most recently this summer in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, his hometown.  His side interest in music for the motion pictures and television industry has led to the recording of his compositions at Paramount Studios.  He is also accomplished in sacred music composing and arranging.
